Limited
Warranty |
|
|
|
Each New Clutch Kit (referred to as a “Kit”) and each Series Upgrade
Clutch Kit (referred to as a “SR Kit”) is warranted to be free
from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use
and service. Each Kit is warranted for twelve (12) months or twelve
thousand (12,000) miles(whichever occurs first) from the date of
installation, and each SR Kit is warranted for three (3) months or three
thousand (3,000) miles (whichever occurs first) from the date of
installation. This warranty is made upon the condition that at the time of
installation, the pressure plate assembly, disc assembly, release
bearing, and pilot bearing/bushing are properly replaced, and the
flywheel is properly resurfaced and replaced. |

There shall be no obligation under this
limited warranty unless the Kit or SR Kit is returned with all
original sub-components (including pressure plate assembly, disc assembly, release
bearing, and pilot bearing/bushing).
Each master cylinder, slave cylinder and flywheel (referred to as “Component”) is
warranted for ninety (90) days from the date of installation. |

Each Kit, SR Kit, and Component is
henceforth referred to in this warranty
as “Product”. |
| |
|
This limited warranty does not apply
to the following (and does not apply to
claimed defects arising from or
related to the following): |

Any Product used in applications and/or
environments for which it was not
designed.
-
Normal wear and tear.
-
Improper installation or lack of
proper maintenance.
-
Any Product that was altered,
repaired, or was damaged by accident,
negligence, or misuse.
-
Any Product damaged by excessive heat
caused by slipping.
-
Pressure plate assembly or disc
assembly with oil contamination,
grease contamination, or rust.
-
Pressure plate assembly with bent
or broken drive straps.
-
Disc assembly with damaged, mashed
or worn stop pins, broken retainer
plates, damaged hub splines, or
missing/broken damper springs.
-
Disc assembly or release bearing
installed backwards or improperly.

The right to inspect a Product and/or
sub-component to determine if it has
failed because of a defect in
workmanship or materials is expressly
reserved.
No other warranties, guaranties, or
representations of any type (express or
implied) are made, and all warranties
(including any implied warranties of
reasonable care, merchantability, or
fitness for a particular purpose) are
disclaimed. This warranty does not cover
labor charges. All incidental or
consequential damages, from any cause
whatsoever, and any such liability, is
disclaimed. The sole remedy for any
claimant under this warranty shall be
the repair, replacement, or credit for
the Product as determined to be
defective by the authorized warranty
inspector (and in the sole and final
discretion of the authorized warranty
inspector). Any liability for damage
arising out of or related to a Product,
the purchase of a Product, or the
installation of a Product (whether for
breach of contract, tort (including,
without limitation, any negligence or
strict liability), or any other claim or
cause of action), is limited to the
repair, replacement, or credit of the
Product (in the sole discretion of the
authorized warranty inspector). The
liability limitations contained in this
warranty shall inure to the benefit of
all sellers, retailers, distributors,
suppliers, wholesalers and manufacturers
of the Product and sub-components.

How To Exercise
Your Warranty |
| |
|
Any claims for
defects under this limited warranty
should be submitted promptly to the
authorized distributor from which the
Product was purchased. Any defective
part as determined in the discretion of
the authorized warranty inspector will
be repaired, replaced, or credited (at
the discretion of the warranty
inspector). The purchaser will be
responsible for all return shipping
charges and related costs. |
